My Background
For the last eight years, I've had the privilege of reporting on a diverse array of communities across the U.S.
I'm a native New Yorker, born and raised on Long Island. After graduating from Boston College and Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, I started my career not far from home in the New York City borough of Queens as a reporter for the Queens Tribune.
In 2018, I moved to Omaha, Nebraska, where I did some freelance work for the Lincoln Journal Star and ultimately became a staff reporter for the daily Fremont Tribune in the city of Fremont.
For four years, I was a journalist for The Sun, a news outlet covering the suburbs of Buffalo for the Buffalo News. In 2022, I was promoted to editor-in-chief. For nearly two years, I oversaw the production of a weekly print newspaper and a daily email newsletter. I moved to Charlotte in June 2023, and have recently worked as a breaking news reporter for Forbes and a copy editor for Axios.
In my free time, I'm working on a dystopian fantasy novel. I like to read, play guitar and spend time with my wife, son and dog.
